This is actually a meal my mom made for me this summer and it is my go to healthy breakfast on Saturday. I love cooking myself breakfast but during the week I am running on fumes so this is a nice Saturday treat I can look forward to. The sausage is high in saturated fat so it is good to eat in moderation. This recipe is also Keto Friendly for those on the Keto Diet. The high fat content in this breakfast will keep you full for a very long time.
Instructions:
Cook sausage patties according to packaging
Wash organic lettuce to use as your base
Measure out 1 tbsp of Primal Kitchen Avocado Mayonnaise and spread on your lettuce cup
Place 1 slice of provolone cheese to be used as your first layer
Place sausage, cut avocado (1/4 of an avocado is plenty) and ½ of a tomato sliced onto your lettuce cup
There you have it! A healthy breakfast full of fat to kick start your brain for the day!
Remember: Eat fat, get fit! It is all about the types of healthy fats you incorporate into your diet.
